They are much better protection than I expected, and the brush nickel is both flattering and unique. "I purchased these toppers because I loved the color and thought they were generic enough to go with lots of outfits. I have the black sun toppers and the tortise toppers and they are all 3 a different "shade" of sunglasses. The black are the darkest, the tortise are the lightest and these nickel sun toppers are a good medium darkness of sunglasses. Unfortunately, I have already lost this pair of toppers. I try to be so careful about where I'm putting my toppers in my purse, but still manage to lose some. This makes the 3rd pair of toppers I have lost. I don't know if they could add stronger magnets or perhaps an additional magnet it the section over your nose?"
